A different approach to a Hawaii Catholic Herald tradition of collecting meatless recipes for Lent, when Catholics abstain from eating meat on Fridays. In place of the long-running Lenten Luncheon hosted by the newspaper staff, I offered to contact renowned local chefs to see if they would share recipes and photos of meat-free dishes. The result is this spread, which I laid out in InDesign myself. Published in the March 10, 2017 issue of Hawaii Catholic Herald.
