“Molokai gives the world another saint”
A special issue produced by my editor and I while on pilgrimage in New York and Italy. On Oct. 21, 2012, Mother Marianne Cope became the second Catholic saint from Hawaii. St. Marianne served leprosy patients in Kalaupapa, Molokai, with St. Damien De Veuster. This 20-page newspaper edition includes photography I shot in Syracuse, New York; Rome and Assisi, Italy; and Vatican City. Hawaii Catholic Herald issue published Oct. 26, 2012.
