“‘Surfer’ embraces family’s faith through tragedy”
One of my most unforgettable assignments! A Catholic media group seeking to promote faith- and family-friendly entertainment asked me to travel to New York City to cover an exclusive premiere screening of the movie “Soul Surfer.” It was great to meet Kauai surfer Bethany Hamilton, her family and some of the film’s stars.
