“Celebrating the Sacred Triduum”

On-location photographs shot during the Sacred Triduum, one of the most important times of the year for Catholics. The Sacred Triduum is comprised of Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Vigil (Holy Saturday). Highlighted in the photo essay are Sacred Triduum customs: Washing of feet on Holy Thursday; veneration of the cross on Good Friday; baptism and the “Service of Light” at Easter Vigil. These traditions symbolize key moments of Jesus’ passion, death and resurrection. Published in the April 8, 2016 issue of Hawaii Catholic Herald.
